#36 – MUSICIAN – Brie Goldsobel - 2015-07-21

Brie Goldsobel on the Curve the Cube Podcast

A young breakout indie pop star, Brie Goldsobel bubbles with talent, positivity, and purpose! She is simply a delight to be around and an amazing performer to see in action.  And, she already has several tours and achievements under her belt.  Aside from her own performance schedule, Brie has also toured as an  opening act for Aaron Carter, been named 'Breakout Pop Artist of the Year' in 2014, been a finalist in the 2015 Recording Academy's Grammy Showcase, and written and recorded with Alex Cantrall (JoJo, Dru Hill).  She’s had a song, “Dive In,” featured in the movie Cowgirls And Angels 2: Dakota's Summer, and even been written up by MTV.

But, what TRULY sets Brie apart is her constant use of her microphone as a podium for positive social change.  She has bravely used her artistry to raise awareness about bullying and is now working to fight against human trafficking.  Her song, War Child, is about this horrifying reality so many people—particularly children—have to face daily, and a clip is featured at the end of her podcast.  She’s shared some great information below that EVERYONE should read!!

You can find Brie's music streaming on Spotify, iTunes, and Pandora and find Brie herself on social media.  Follow her today for a beautifully moving musical experience!!

#35 – CHRISTIAN HIP HOP – JDUB (Jeff Williams) – 2015-07-19

JDUB (Jeff Williams) on the Curve the Cube Podcast

After an adolescence of bad choices mixed with blossoming hip hop stardom, JDUB (Jeff Williams) found his faith and matched his message to his music.  His natural talent has gained him recognition as a gifted MC, nominated in 2013 for “Best Gospel Hip Hop Artist of the Year” by the South Florida Gospel Music Awards and winning 2013 Song of the Year for “Superstar.” His music is simply REALLY GOOD!!!

Meeting and talking to JDUB was a real treat, because he’s not only pursuing one passion in his life, but has figured out how to beautifully marry TWO: his music and his message of the power of God to change lives.  He is as equally humbled by his success as his is driven to expand his music’s reach.  Be sure to head to his website and sign up for his newsletter.  His next album, simply called “The Five Album,” is hopefully dropping this year, and his newsletter is a great way to find out first!  Trust me, JDUB gave me a lengthy preview of the album, and every bit I heard was AMAZING!!! So, you DON’T want to miss it!!  And, also be sure to follow him on social media (@JDUB561):
