Meet Dan Corcoran--one of the reporters for south Florida's division of Scripps' The List! Coming from a hard-hitting news background traveling the country, Dan's "Around South Florida" segments are a window into how he is getting his south Florida footing through some really random local finds!

The List is an entertaining trending topics show with funny and often nostalgic pop culture references sprinkled throughout. Through their locally-based "Around Town" segments, each market gets a more in-depth focus on its own backyard.  The show's motto is "There’s the news… and then there’s THE LIST."; and in south Florida, that often gets uniquely interesting. Dan's "Around South Florida" segments allow him to explore the local eateries, events, and other goings-on that make south Florida so captivating; and, Dan’s reporting is super sweet and charming!

Super-charged with youthful energy and electric talent, Alex Ariete (Alexander Popovics, formerly DJ Pop Drop) is primed and ready to take over the world of EDM!  At only 12 years old, Alex is better known as DJ Pop Drop and has played to crowds of THOUSANDS!!!  Sun Fest and the Vanilla Ice Block Party are just TWO of the venues where this young artist has wowed and entertained!

Under the guidance of DJ Supreme1 and through high-level music schooling, Alex has become a formidable DJ.  I have personally had the privilege of watching and hearing some of his performances first-hand.  He’s INCREDIBLE!!! This tenth episode of the Curve the Cube podcast features Amir Arison, also known as "Aram" on NBC’s The Blacklist!!! I had the privilege of going to high school with Amir and getting to see his theatrical potential ignite from an early age. He was simply a STAR!

To watch Amir’s career really blossom and take off over the last several years has been UNBELIEVABLY exciting!! He has breathed life into roles on stage in such productions as The Muscles in Our Toes and on screen with appearances in hits like Jane Wants a Boyfriend, Girls, American Horror Story, Homeland, and Law & Order SVU.  His role as the enthusiastic and precise, yet nervous and self-conscious, Aram on The Blacklist has solidified his national spotlight.  Amir’s years of experience in the entertainment industry have already afforded him a great deal of wisdom, sage advice, and hilarious stories, and he shares so much of all that right here.

Talented, handsome, funny, and charming, Amir is on a bright rise to the top as both an actor and a promising director.  I am so grateful that, on his way up, he stopped by the podcast to reminisce and lend us a dash of his humor and wit to this episode.  Amir lives in New York, but is a Florida boy at heart, and he was so gracious to open his parents’ home to me during the holidays for this podcast.  You are in for a great mix of both laughs and insightful nuggets!
